12 classic Russian fairytales that I, at least, have been familiar with in one or other form my entire life. I actually started reading this book for my reading challenge for 2017, but honestly, couldn't be bothered in the end and just let it sit for a couple of days before finishing it today.

I find that Russian fairytales can mostly be summed up as:
- be beautiful, then everything will be okay;

- the youngest sibling is usually the good one;

- talking animals let you prosper.
