BLURB:
The first in a series of four novelizations to accompany the remake of the popular 1960s TV series Bewitched. Turning 16 is hard, but nothing could prepare Sabrina, the teenage witch, for her special legacy.
Once upon a time I used to watch Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a TV series and, honestly, I loved it like crazy. When I discovered that there were also books, I quite literally read all of them in a row, but somewhere along the line my enthusiasm for it left me. I think it had the most to do with the fact that I simply grew up and I had other interests as well. But now, when I decided to re-read the first book as a part of this year's reading challenge, I had to admit to myself that it was actually a very decently written book and there had to have been a good reason why I devoured the series. Parts of it appealed to me even now, ca 15 years after I first read and watched the series. Definitely a keeper on my shelves.
