BLURB:
If someone were to ask Jasmine Santos to describe the last few years of her life with a single word, it would definitely be a four-letter one.
After seventeen years—and countless broken bones and broken promises—she knows her window to compete in figure skating is coming to a close. But when the offer of a lifetime comes in from an arrogant idiot she’s spent the last decade dreaming about pushing in the way of a moving bus, Jasmine might have to reconsider everything. Including Ivan Lukov.
Beautiful.

Made sleep disappear because I simply could not put it down before I was all done.

It was a slow burn romance true to Mariana Zapata's style, but it seemed ... faster somehow than her other works because I felt that Ivan was never all that unfriendly with Jasmine to begin with whereas she didn't have all that friendly thoughts towards Ivan from the start. Also, quite a bit of the attention was on Jasmine's development as a figure skater and a bit less on how Jasmine and Ivan got closer to one another. I would've liked to see a bit more of their relationship changing from frenemies to lovers. It was well-written and explained, I just would've liked to see *more*. Give me a finger, I'll be wanting for the entire arm ...

However, the banter made it so much better. Loved it to bits and pieces how Ivan and Jasmine kept insult-flirting with each other and how their first L-word was exchanged. That particular scene was my favourite.
